The Lake Party

***Pre-trip caravan departs town Thursday, August 5th, approx 9am***

thursday, 8/5
We depart Columbus on I-71 South and head towards LaFollette,
TN. An annual pit-stop at The Cork & Barrel just across the river from
Cincinnati, to stretch, relax, and load up on spirits. We arrive in Caryville, TN
approx. 5.5 hours later, and those involved will be staying with us at The
Hampton Inn.

friday, 8/6
After our last morning of sleeping in and getting a fat, greasy breakfast at Bob's,
we are due to pickup our boats from Springs Dock approx. 2pm. We will load the
houseboats here, and disembark for party cove. Once we get these beasts get
tied off, dinner will be served, followed by a stress reducing Primal Scream, and
the now infamous Caribbean Kickoff Party.

saturday, 8/7
Ah yes, nothing beats the first full day on the lake. Spend your day skiing,
tubing, soaking up the sun or bobbing around the cove. After dinner, all hands
on deck, rock out to the 80's, and let's crown the next Beer Pong Champ. Where's
the aloe?

sunday, 8/8
Is there a Cardinal in the house? You bet your a** there is! Another full day of
coving, skiing , wakeboarding, or just lounging. Break out the drinking games;
do you have a Cardinal in you? Rumor has it, we're scheduled for a Papal visit.

monday, 8/9
Before you know it, time to re-pack and head home. Is it over already?
Boats are due turned in by 10am. The long drive home commences. And I do
mean long. Incredibly. I'm not kidding. I wish I was. Auto pilot would be nice.
Maybe a teleporter. Trust me, if you were on a double-decker bus packed with
strippers you'd still fall asleep...and Jimmy would know!
